ReenactmentPosted March 30 2011
Historical reenactment is an activity in which participants recreate some aspects of a historical event or period. An American Civil War Re-enactment is an effort to recreate a particular battle or similar event associated with the American Civil War by hobbyists known as Civil War re-enactors. Civil War re-enactment is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the United States. Activities related to "re-enactment" are not new; there were tournaments in the Middle Ages which would have Roman or other earlier themes. Re-enactments may take place with or without an audience.
